The New Year's Eve ball for 500 physicists organized in the Warsaw University of Technology. Activities planned for the World Year of Physics 2005 in Poland will be carried on along three directions, according to who will be the receiver and what will be the form of action: A. To form an opinion of intellectuals, non-physics scientists, journalists, people of culture and media, business people - on the significance of physics B. To popularize physics among the general public, especially among young people C. To present physics to physicists, scientists, teachers, technicians, and technologists. A.
