The European preparatory Meeting for the W.Y.P. As a follow-up of the 2nd Preparatory Meeting for the World Year of Physics 2005 (WYP 2005), which was held in Montreal in March 2004, the European Physical Society (EPS) organised the European Preparatory Meeting for the World Year of Physics 2005, which took place in Mulhouse, France, Friday 15 and Saturday 16 October 2004, in the new European Physical Society building. The participants presented updates of European and world-wide events, exchanged information, ideas about individual projects, how to attract media and the attention of the wide public.
