2005 will be the International Year of Physics, as declared by the UNESCO and by the General Assembly of the United Nations. From January 13-15, an international launch conference will take place in Paris, supported by the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP), by the European Physical Society (EPS), by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), and by other national and international organisations and foundations. Prize Laureates and leaders from science, industry and politics will
come together with young physics students from all over the world
to share their vision of Physics for Tomorrow.
